Two Sarawak-based companies might be fined by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) if they are found guilty of damaging fibre optic cables. According to a news article by The Borneo Post, the companies were allegedly to have damaged Telekom Malaysia’s (TM) network facilities, specifically 48 Core underground fibre optic cables.
