Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 Series has officially arrived, introducing the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra and Galaxy Tab S12+ with upgraded performance, larger displays and enhanced Galaxy AI capabilities.
Designed for productivity, creativity and entertainment, the new tablet lineup combines flagship hardware with a slim and portable design.
Unveiled by Samsung Electronics on September 30, 2026, the Galaxy Tab S12 Series is powered by the 3nm MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor, delivering up to 61% faster NPU processing, 19% improved CPU performance and 17% better GPU performance compared to the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra.
The Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra features a 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, while the Galaxy Tab S12+ comes with a 12.6-inch panel.
Both support 120Hz refresh rates and up to 1,600 nits peak brightness, offering smooth visuals and improved outdoor visibility.
Despite its large display, the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra measures just 5.1mm thick, making it Samsung’s thinnest Galaxy Tab to date.
Productivity is further enhanced through Galaxy AI, Android 17 and One UI 9. Users can run up to three applications simultaneously using Multi Window, while the included S Pen supports note-taking, sketching and precise editing.
Samsung has also preloaded Adobe Photoshop, making the Galaxy Tab S12 Series the first Android tablets to come with the application pre-installed. Both models also include access to selected productivity and creative applications.
Battery life is another highlight, with the Ultra offering up to 23 hours and the S12+ up to 21 hours of video playback.
In Malaysia, the Galaxy Tab S12 Series will be available from October 7, 2026, in Gray and Silver.
The Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra starts at RM5,999, while the Galaxy Tab S12+ starts at RM4,999 for Wi-Fi models.
