The Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro aren’t secret devices. Both devices had been launched in China over a month ago, but today Xiaomi is catching up on what was originally planned to be a MWC2020 global product reveal and global launch event.
Both the new smartphones represent Xiaomi’s mainline flagship devices for 2020.
It features the latest Snapdragon 865 SoC, including a slew of different camera hardware.
This includes the famed HMX 108MP camera sensor that was developed from the collaboration between Samsung and Xiaomi.
KEY SPECIFICATIONS OF MI 10 & MI 10 PRO
Like all of Xiaomi’s offerings, both phones follow the company’s offering of low (or mid-range) pricing with high-end specifications.
Key features of the Mi 10 are:
- Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 865
- Screen size & type: 6.67″ AMOLED
- Rear Camera: 108MP, 12MP, 20MP
- Battery: 4780mAh
The Mi 10 comes with 8GB of DRAM, with an option of 128GB or 256GB storage space.
The higher specification Mi 10 Pro on the other hand has the following specs:
- Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 865
- Screen size & type: 6.67″ AMOLED
- Rear Camera: 108MP, 12MP, 8MP (with 5X Optical zoom), 20MP
- Battery: 4500mAh
As you can note, the Mi 10 Pro has more camera options and comes with 8GB DRAM and 256GB storage space. The battery surprisingly is smaller than the Mi 10.

PROTECTION
Both phones are said to be using Gorilla Glass 5, and unfortunately do not have an official IP rating.
This is likely where Xiaomi reduced their production cost, hence enabling them to offer the phones at lower prices despite their high-end specifications.
PRICING AND AVAILABILITY
Since most countries are now dealing with the CONVID-19 virus, availability of both phones in local retail remains unknown although sales (likely online), is expected beginning April 15th in Europe
The phones are coming in at 799€ (RM3,861) for the 8+128GB Mi 10, and 799€ (RM4828) for the 8+256GB for the Mi 10 Pro.
