Qualcomm Technologies has announced a new collaboration with Google to bring its Snapdragon X Elite platform to Googlebooks, a new category of premium laptops designed around Gemini Intelligence and seamless integration with Android devices.
The collaboration combines the performance, power efficiency and AI capabilities of Snapdragon X Elite with Google’s Gemini-powered computing experience.
The result is a new generation of laptops designed to deliver more personalised, connected and intelligent experiences across PCs, Android smartphones and tablets.
Googlebook: Google’s New Premium Laptops for Gemini
Googlebooks are designed to work closely with the Android ecosystem, allowing users to move more seamlessly between their laptop and Snapdragon-powered Android devices.
Features such as Cast my Apps, Magic Pointer and Rambler are designed to help users stay productive by bringing relevant information from emails, calendars and on-screen content into the computing experience.
Googlebooks also support native Android applications and games, expanding the range of apps available to users while creating a more connected experience between laptops and Android devices.
For gaming, Snapdragon X Elite brings Snapdragon Elite Gaming technologies to Googlebooks, including features designed to support higher frame rates and enhanced graphics.
Snapdragon X Elite Powers AI and Efficiency
According to Qualcomm, Snapdragon X Elite provides the performance and efficiency required for Google’s new laptop platform while its integrated NPU enables AI-powered features.
“Snapdragon X Elite delivers extraordinary performance and efficiency, now paired with support for native Android apps and games for Googlebooks users,” said Kedar Kondap, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Compute & Gaming at Qualcomm Technologies.
The company said its collaboration with Google and global OEM partners is aimed at creating a new category of laptops focused on cross-device continuity for Android users.
Google also highlighted the combination of Snapdragon X Elite’s performance, all-day battery life and NPU efficiency as key elements behind the Googlebook experience.
Dell and HP Googlebooks Announced
Dell and HP are the first OEMs bringing Googlebooks powered by Snapdragon X Elite to market.
HP has also confirmed the HP Googlebook 14, combining Snapdragon X Elite with Gemini Intelligence, native Android app support and a premium laptop design.

The first Googlebook models from Dell and HP are now available for pre-order here, marking the beginning of Google’s new Snapdragon-powered premium laptop ecosystem.
