This list of Best android smartphone for 2022 is to help guide you which smartphone the one that turns heads.

Unlike other list of Best android smartphone out there, this list is derived from multiple sources, and therefore will only feature the top 10 smartphones which overlap with  tech sites I read.

For the 2022 Best android smartphone list, I have read reviews from several sources in which allowed me to compile the list of best Android smartphones below.

I will name and show you a picture of the phone first, before giving you a brief introduction of the smartphone.

After that, there’s a link to get more information on the smartphone, as well as a quick link to buy the smartphone.  This link goes to a site which will give you the latest promotion on the smartphone, so you do stand to get the smartphone at lower prices than the retail price.

With that now clear, here’s the list of Best android smartphone in Malaysia in no particular order.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra

Every review I’ve read listed the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra as one of the best Android smartphones in 2022. The is highlight is the incredible display, cameras and zoom with the excellent little S Pen being the cherry at the top of the icing.  The downside is its price tag.

Google Pixel 7 Pro

The Google Pixel 7 Pro is another popular Android smartphone in reviews with many saying it has superb cameras, and it’s Android is clean and enjoyable to use as it does also feature exclusive software’s as well. Despite that, reviews also stated the smartphone’s battery is not as expected, and with reviewers largely torn between the design.

Google Pixel 7

The Google Pixel 7 grabs attention because it may be even better than the Google Pixel 7 Pro, but comes at a much ‘friendlier price’.  The smartphone doesn’t have a great battery and comes without any telephoto lens.

Samsung Galaxy S22

The Samsung Galaxy S22 makes itself into the best Android smartphones of 2022 because it has a lower price tag than the S22 Ultra, but still offers almost the same refinement to the later.  It however does suffer from lack of updates and a lower quality camera system if compared to its the Ultra variant.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 is easily the best foldable smartphone for 2022.  It is considered affordable for a foldable smartphone, boast top specifications, looks stylish and is water resistant. Unfortunately, the smartphone doesn’t come with a telephoto lens which is a standard in premium smartphones.

Notable mentions for 2022 Best android smartphone

Aside from the top five Android smartphones above, there are some notable mentions by tech reviewers.

The OnePlus 10 Pro is considered the best value-for-money smartphone as it offers a fantastic screen and a device that’s super fast to charge.

The Motorola Edge 30 Ultra is considered the ultimate flagship killer and an impressive gaming Android smartphone as it offers the best in its class performance with incredible battery life despite lacking in camera ability.

The Google Pixel 6A is considered a the best midrange smartphone with a low price and an impressive cameras despite its plastic body and slow charging capabilities.

The Asus Zenfone 9 is mentioned by two sites as being the best compact smartphone, providing not only a very distinctive and compact design, but also fantastic battery life.

And last but not least, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 is also considered one of the best foldables for the year 2022 by two of the four sites I use to sum up this list.
