Xiaomi has been releasing a lot of tease related to their coming event in India this September 5th.
Many, myself included, had figured it would be their Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 concept smartphone, but a report by Android Central had revealed that may just not be the case.
According to the site, Xiaomi had confirmed that they are going to release a new smartphone series, prompting them to believe the new smartphone would be the first Xiaomi Android One smartphone.
Previously, rumours have surfaced that Xiaomi is working with Google on an Android One smartphone with the phone carrying stock Android ecosystem, as opposed to the the popular MiUI most Xiaomi smartphone use nowadays.
Since 5th September is just a few days away, there’s no point to speculate further, but wait for the final announcement.
I personally think the MIUI is better than the stock Android, but then, what do you think?
