Samsung One UI 9 Rolling Out to Galaxy S26 Series With New Galaxy AI Features

Samsung has started rolling out Samsung One UI 9 to more Galaxy devices, with the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+ and Galaxy S26 Ultra among the first to receive the update. The software originally debuted on the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Z Fold8 and Z Flip8.

The Samsung One UI 9 focuses heavily on Galaxy AI, personalization, productivity and security. New features include My FanCam, which automatically keeps a selected person centred in recorded videos, making it easier to create social-ready footage.

Samsung has also expanded Now Brief with Generative and Editable Cards, allowing users to customize summaries covering areas such as health, weather and video.

Warranty and Care provides access to warranty information, diagnostics, repair estimates and Samsung Care+ directly through Settings.

For productivity, Now Nudge offers context-aware suggestions, while Creative Studio can suggest AI image-generation ideas based on upcoming events.

Interpreter gains a Thread View for translated conversations, while Document Scan and Voice Recorder receive improvements for scanning and organizing information.

Security is another major focus. Security Brief highlights potential risks, while Privacy Alerts use on-device AI to identify possible privacy concerns. Scam Detection is also expanding to additional countries and languages.

The One UI 9 rollout will extend to more compatible Galaxy devices, with availability varying by model and market.
