During the recent Apple event, Apple not only introduced the newer iPhone 13 series and Apple Watch 7, but also introduced two Apple iPad for 2021.
The Apple iPad’s for 2021 are the iPad 10.2 (2021) and the iPad mini (2021).
iPad 10.2 (2021) highlights
The entry level iPad 10.2 will get a new chip, namely the A13 Bionic and this promises 20% better performance compared to last year’s model.
Another significant upgrade is the storage size of the iPad 10.2 with the minimum storage you can get now at 64GB, with the other option being 256GB.
Also upgraded is the front camera which now features a 120-degree ultrawide lens and a 12MP camera.
The rest remains the same for the iPad 10.2 so that means most accessories already available for the tablet will be reusable. The specs of the iPad 10.2 (2021) can be seen below:

iPad mini (2021) highlights
The iPad mini on the other hand gets more upgrades, with the tablet using the latest Apple A15 Bionic chipset.
The iPad mini now has a similar design to the Apple iPhone 13, which is rather flat, not something I particularly like.
It offers a bigger 8.3-inch display and the fingerprint sensor has been moved to the power button.
Apple this time around also added in stereo speakers to the iPad mini, and you can now snap the 2nd gen Apple pencil to the side of the tablet.
In the camera department, the rear and front camera gets a 12MP main camera.
The cellular version now supports 5G, and Apple’s Lightning port has been changed to the more universal USB-C port. Specifications of the iPad mini 2021 are as seen below:

Apple iPad 2021 price and availability
Apple Malaysia has already updated the prices for both the Apple 10.2 (2021) and Apple mini (2021) on its official site, but has not noted when the tablets will be available.

If that’s too much to pay for, then you can still consider older versions of the iPad.
If you want to get the older Apple iPads you must hurry because the older models are currently sold as a bargain at thier official Apple retailers on Lazada and Shopee. Once these older models are sold out, you can only get the newe iPad 10.2 and iPad mini.
