ASUS Malaysia has announced the availability of its new ASUS ExpertBook P Series in Malaysia, bringing enterprise-grade durability, AI-powered performance and business-focused features to students, professionals and everyday users.
The new lineup consists of three models – the ASUS ExpertBook P3 G1, ExpertBook P5 G1 and ExpertBook PM5 G2 – offering different levels of performance and AI capabilities for productivity, study and professional workloads.
Three ExpertBook models for different users
The ASUS ExpertBook P3 G1 is positioned as an everyday business laptop, powered by up to an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor with Intel AI Boost NPU performance of up to 13 TOPS. It is available with 14-inch or 16-inch WUXGA 16:10 displays and 16GB DDR5 RAM.
Moving up the range, the ASUS ExpertBook P5 G1 focuses on premium productivity and portability. It features an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor, 32GB DDR5 memory and a 512GB PCIe 4.0 SSD. Users also get an OLED display, with the 14-inch model weighing from just 1.29kg.
The flagship of the lineup is the ASUS ExpertBook PM5 G2, which is designed around on-device AI performance. It can be configured with an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 470 processor featuring an AMD XDNA NPU capable of up to 55 TOPS. It also comes with 32GB DDR5 RAM and a 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD.
Built for work, study and everyday use
ASUS says the ExpertBook P Series is designed to withstand the demands of both workplace and campus environments. The laptops undergo durability testing intended to protect against everyday bumps, drops and spills.
Connectivity is another major focus. The P Series provides a selection of ports suitable for modern workstations, including support for up to three external 4K displays. ASUS has also reinforced the laptops’ I/O ports to withstand up to 9kg of physical force, helping improve long-term reliability and reduce potential maintenance costs.
The laptops also feature 16:10 displays, providing additional vertical screen space compared with conventional 16:9 panels. ASUS says this can be useful when working with documents, spreadsheets, websites and coding applications.
AI features for meetings and productivity
All three models also benefit from ASUS AI ExpertMeet, an AI-powered collaboration tool designed for business meetings.
The software includes AI Meeting Minutes, which can automatically capture and organize important discussion points, as well as AI Translated Subtitles for real-time multilingual translation.
Importantly, ASUS says AI processing takes place on the device, allowing meeting data to remain on the PC rather than being sent elsewhere. This is aimed at providing AI-assisted productivity while maintaining privacy for sensitive business information.
ASUS ExpertBook P Series Malaysia price and availability
The new ASUS ExpertBook P Series is now available in Malaysia through selected ASUS-authorized retail and online channels.
The ASUS ExpertBook P3 G1 starts at RM4,799, while the ASUS ExpertBook P5 G1 starts at RM7,999. The AI-focused ASUS ExpertBook PM5 G2 starts at RM9,399 and is sold online exclusively through the ASUS e-Store, ASUS ExpertBook Official Stores on Shopee and Lazada.
