Asus announce GeForce RTX 3050 series graphic cards

ASUS has announced they will be offering the GeForce RTX 3050 series graphic cards.

These entry level graphic cards will be made available in three different classes including ROG Strix, Dual, and Phoenix.

Highlights of the Asus GeForce RTX 3050 series

The ROG Strix branding will see the company releasing the standard edition variant of the card, as well as an OC Edition. ROG Strix graphic cards gets wrapped in the same chiselled cutouts and futuristic and angular cuts, complete with an RGB LED ROG logo cutout on its backplate.

Asus however decided to add a triple-fan cooling solution for the RTX 3050 ROG Strix which will ensure the card stays even cooler during usage.

The Dual graphic cards also come in a standard and OC Edition.

Unlike the ROG Strix graphic card, the Dual only gets a dual-fan solutions, but these fans use Asus’s Axial-tech design that is capable of 0db operations, where temperatures and load permit.

The Phoenix GeForce RTX 3050 on the other hand is a single-fan cooling graphic card that is small in size, perfect for those who like cramping a lot of tech in a small computer tower or case.

All three Asus GeForce RTX 3050 series graphic cards come with 8GB GDDR6 graphics memory, 8nm Ampere architecture, and support the PCIe 4.0 interface.

The cards also have a combination of a maximum of two HDMI 2.1 ports and a maximum of three DisplayPort 1.4a ports.

It is not known when the graphic cards will be available in Malaysia, but once Asus Malaysia makes the announcement, I’ll update you though this site.

You can nonetheless check out the online malls below to find out if they have hit the market via third party seller for now.

I noticed that some seller are already selling it, or taking orders for the graphic cards although it’s likely they are third party resellers bringing the cards from other markets in which its already available.
