Razer announce Opus X wireless headphones

Razer this week had announced the Razer Opus X wireless headphones.

The Razer headphones look pretty minimalist and and typical, but it does seem to be comfortable to wear.

In terms of colours, the headphones are ultra bright for my liking, but some people love such attention.

Highlights of the Razer Opus X wireless headphones

Aside from the ultra bright colors, the headphones feature active noise-cancelation with a large 40mm drivers in a circumoral design with large ear pads.

This feat made possible by microphones outside of the headphones that help detect and cancel out ambient noise.

In addition to that, there’s also a Quick Attention Mode which does the opposite of active noise-cancellation, in which it allows outside sound in through the speakers.

The Opus X features Bluetooth 5.0 connection with the company claiming that the headphones have a latency of 60ms when using Gaming Mode.

In terms of battery life, Razer claims that a single charge can last 30 hours with ANC enabled.

Price and availability

The Razer Opus X come in three colors, Green, Quartz (pink), and Mercury (white).

They can be bought from the official Razer website at $99 (RM406).

Aside from the official site, there might be third party sellers bringing in the headphones via local online shopping sites so you might want to check them out if you are keen to get the headphones.
