Speeds for mobile internet are increasingly getting better in Myanmar with telco MPT expanding its LTE+ network to Pyin Oo Lwin, a town in Mandalay Division, Myanmar.

According to Telecompaper, MPT has been upgrading and switching its existing cell towers throughout the country to deliver LTE+ powered by 4×4 MIMO advanced technology allowing speeds up to 150Mbps.

Currently, the network has covered over 29 cities, state and regional capitals, with Phin Oo Lwin being the latest addition.
