OPPO has officially confirmed that the Find X9 Ultra is heading to global markets later this year, marking the first time the company’s Ultra platform expands beyond China.
The announcement was made in Barcelona, signaling OPPO’s growing ambitions outside its home territory.
The Find X9 Ultra is being positioned as OPPO’s most advanced camera phone yet. At the core of the device is what the company calls its most sophisticated imaging system ever, built around next-generation optical engineering designed to raise the bar for mobile photography.
As expected, OPPO is continuing its partnership with Hasselblad, further refining color science and professional-grade image tuning for flagship users.
Branded with the tagline “Built to Be Your Next Camera,” the Find X9 Ultra aims to blur the line between smartphone and dedicated camera hardware. According to Elvis Zhou, CEO of OPPO Europe, the “Ultra” name shouldn’t just be a marketing term.
“In 2026, many devices will carry the ‘Ultra’ label. We believe the title must be earned,” Zhou said during the company’s Barcelona media briefing, adding that the Find X9 Ultra sets a new benchmark for mobile imaging.
While OPPO is keeping full specifications under wraps for now, more details — including hardware breakdown, camera capabilities, and global availability — will be revealed in phases ahead of launch.
If OPPO delivers on its promises, the Find X9 Ultra could become one of the most serious camera-centric flagships of 2026.
