New Xiaomi phone detected with Snapdragon 835 & 6GB RAM

Xioami just launched the Xioami Mi Note 3 and the Mi Mix 2which are two awesome smartphones.

While the Mi Mix 2 received positive reactions, the same couldn’t be said for the Mi Note 3 which many felt was a ‘downgrade’, largely due to it’s Snapdragon 660 processor.

Many also felt that the Mi Note 3 isn’t exactly a bigger version of the Mi 6 due to this, despite the fact it looks almost identical.

That said, GSM Arena today reported a new unknown Xiaomi smartphone had just been tested on GFXBench, with the code name ‘Chiron’.

According to the website, the mysterious phone has a 5.6” screen with 16.5:9 aspect ratio, which is smaller than the Mi Mix or Mi Mix 2, hence making them speculate that it could be a flagship phone which is close to the Mi Note, Mi 6, or Redmi Pro.

Further details of the mysterious phone reveal that it runs on the new Snapdragon 835 chipset, comes with 6GB of RAM and a whopping 256GB of built-in storage, one simcard slot, with a 12MP camera attached to the rear.

I am always excited when Xioami has a new phone and this new ‘Xiaomi Chiron’ is no different. I do however hope it does come with the 3.5mm audio jack. – phonesentral.com
