realme released two short films titled “Chasing the Sun” and “The Silent Symphony” recently which won the Student Academy Awards.
The films were created by Jeremy Cloe and Asher Jelinsky respectively. Both Jeremy and Asher were previous winners of Student Academy Awards for short narrative films.
“Chasing the Sun” depicts a powerful, emotional story of a boy named Arol, who strives to balance his musical aspirations with his father’s expectations for him as a restaurateur.
Meanwhile, “The Silent Symphony” tells the gradual metamorphosis of a timid young woman named Ava. Ava’s story is revealed scene by scene through a public poetry reading in which she gradually explores her authentic self, ultimately stepping out of her comfort zone to show the world who she truly is.
realme in a statement said that the brand hopes that this film will inspire more young audiences to listen to their inner voice and be themselves without worrying about what others think.
In addition, realme is sets to launch its 5th Anniversary Leap Up Products – the realme 11 5G, realme Pad 2 and realme Buds Air 5 – coming 30 August 2023.
