realme Malaysia has announced the incoming of their realme GT Neo2, which boast the ability to change its screen refresh rate to four different modes from 30Hz for always-on-display up to 120Hz refresh rate for high performance experience.
The smartphone was one of the few devices announced by the company during a special event held yesterday.
Other devices announced include the realme’s First Tablet, realme C25Y and realme narzo 50i. All these devices are debutants in the Malaysian market.

realme GT Neo2 highlights
Being realme’s gaming smartphone means that the device is packed with game-specific hardware specifications.
There’s a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 5G Processor powering the smartphone, which is paired with realme’s Dynamic RAM Expansion (DRE) Technology which allows users to upgrade their existing RAM from 12GB to 19GB.
The smartphone also comes with a 6.62-inch 120Hz E4 AMOLED Display with high peak brightness of 1300nit, high contrast ratio of 5,000,000:1 while at the same time being 15% power-saving.
As mentioned above, the smartphone screen also consists of four different refresh modes namely, 30Hz, 60Hz, 90Hz to 120Hz. The highest refresh rate is for intensive gaming, so gamers would get better reaction visuals.
Aside from that, the new GT Mode 2.0 allows touch sampling rate to be maximized until 600Hz per touch which will definitely improve responses when gaming.
To ensure the smartphone remains cool, the realme GT Neo2 is the first device equipped with the Stainless Steel Vapor Cooling Plus which adopts the Diamond Thermal Gel as a layer for heat dissipation. realme claims its 50% more effective in heat transfer with the company increasing the size of its stainless steel VC heatsink to 4129mm², hence allowing faster heat dissipation speed.
To ensure you can continue gaming without worry of power, the smartphone also comes with a 65W SuperDart Charge and 5000mAh Massive Battery only takes 36 minutes to a full charge.
Since this is a gaming smartphone, less emphasis is given to the camera department.
However, realme still packed a 64MP main camera alongside an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro lens which features a Street Photography mode.

realme GT Neo2 Malaysia price and availability
realme Malaysia will start selling the smartphone for the first time in Malaysia during the coming 11.11 Sales.
The company announced that the smartphone will come in two colours namely NEO green and NEO blue with the 12GB RAM + 256GB ROM variant being the only one coming in so far.
While the retail price is RM2,099, the gaming smartphone itself will be available at RM1,999 during 11 November 2021.
