realme confirms its gaming smartphone coming this 17 October

realme Malaysia today confirmed that the realme 13 Series 5G, dubbed the Gaming Dominator, will debut debut on 17 October 2024.

The series comes in two variants, namely the realme 13+ 5G and realme 13 5G.

Both offer the powerful MediaTek Dimensity processors, the segment’s best cooling system, faster charging, and bigger battery.

In addition, the realme 13+ 5G is also the Official Gaming Phone for the 2024 Honor of Kings Championship.

The smartphone comes with an inspiring tagline, “Speed to Victory”, with the realme 13+ 5G bearing the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Energy processor, which is usually equipped on smartphones priced above RM2,500 and is able to achieve an AnTuTu benchmark score of over 750,000.

Meanwhile, the realme 13 5G has a Dimensity 6300 processor which is also equally good.

realme Malaysia says that superior hardware and optimisation with game developers sees the realme 13+ 5G being able to support 90fps mode for five major titles, including Call of Duty: Mobile, Free Fire, Honor of Kings (HOK), Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and PlayerUnknown’s Battleground (PUBG).

Notably, HOK players can push the FPS to 120fps while enjoying ultra-graphic quality in the game.

In addition, realme 13+ 5G boasts a stainless steel VC cooling area of 6050mm², offering up to 19°C reduction in temperature in the core areas, while the realme 13 5G has 2249mm², both of which are the largest cooling areas in the segment.

The realme 13+ 5G is also coming with an 80W ultra charge capabilities, while the realme 13 5G will have a 45W ultra charge.

Speed to Victory with 120FPS on HOK

In conjunction with the launch, realme has teamed up with Honor of Kings, the world’s most-played mobile MOBA game, for its upcoming 2024 Honor of Kings Championship.

The collaboration will see the realme 13+ 5G powering the prestigious tournament as the Official Gaming Phone, during which it will showcase its extraordinary gaming performance, superior heat dissipation, and faster charging speed.

The alliance cements realme’s position as the frontrunner of the mobile gaming segment while underlining its commitment to offering unmatched gaming experiences to its users.

The 2024 Honor of Kings Championship will take place from 12 October to 27 October, where the top 16 teams from across the globe will be competing for a total prize pool of USD 1 million.
