OPPO Malaysia today announced the launch of the latest OPPO Reno6 Pro.
The latest smartphone under the Reno series is said to be an expert of Portrait Videos as it supports next-level portrait video experience with a load of industry-leading features like the newly-introduced Bokeh Flare Portrait Video to provide cinematic bokeh flare effects in portraits, and the upgraded AI Highlight Video.
This enables users to record every precious moment as professional-looking portrait videos as well as cutting-edge technologies that make it a smartphone to be excited about.
The smartphone isn’t exactly new as it was launched globally in May 2021 but this is its official entry to Malaysia.
OPPO Reno6 Pro highlights
The highlight of this new smartphone is definitely its mighty 50MP AI Quad Camera matrix at the rear, and a 32MP Selfie Camera in front.
The main camera uses the Sony IMX766 sensor with large 1/1.56” sensor that features DOL-HDR technology, All-Pixel Omni Focus and more to produce high-quality images consistently.
Additionally, it has a dedicated color temperature sensor to capture colors more accurately and portrait videos have increased in quality.
In terms of design, the smartphone continues the slim and lightweight with a thickness of 7.99mm and weighing only 188g.
It inherits OPPO’s unique Reno Glow design, which this time around doesn’t seem too flashy, but it does look rather oriented to the girls.
The smartphone uses a 6.5-inch 3D curved display with a 90Hz refresh rate for the screen and the screen is also SGS-certified as eye-friendly and will not cause any strain or discomfort.
Under the hood is the Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 870 5G processor which is paired with 12GB of RAM and OPPO’s self-developed RAM Expansion technology. It’s not the latest processor out there but its good enough.
There’s a Multi-cooling System to keep the smartphone cool with a 4500mAh battery which supports 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 made available for those needing to juice up the smartphone in the quickest of time.

The OPPO Reno6 Pro is available in Arctic Blue and Lunar Grey, at a retail price of RM2,999.
OPPO Malaysia says pre-orders begin from 17 August 2021 to 23 August 2021, with those who pre-order receiving up to RM 1,099 worth in free gifts, including a pair of the newly-launched Enco Air TWS earbuds, a Marshall backpack, 1TB Hey Tap Cloud Storage, OPPO Care one-year screen protection.
Pre-orders will be available at OPPO’s official store on Lazada, OPPO Stores and OPPO Brand Stores.
Aside from that, there will also be a Purchase with purchase deal available exclusively on Lazada that allows buyers of the OPPO Reno6 Pro to purchase the OPPO Enco Buds at just RM 1 and the OPPO Enco Air at RM 29.
