OPPO Photography Awards 2025 concludes

The OPPO Photography Awards 2025 concluded on December 19, 2025, with a finale event in Cairo, Egypt.

This final exhibition followed a global tour through Singapore, Spain, Brazil, Mexico, and Italy, celebrating the growing impact of mobile imaging.

The 2025 edition saw massive participation, attracting nearly 2 million entries from 87 countries and regions.

Under the theme “Super Every Moment,” the exhibition showcased how mobile photography enables users to capture authentic cultural perspectives and emotional resonance from everyday life.

Ling Liu, OPPO’s Overseas CMO, highlighted the company’s “Make Your Moment” philosophy, aiming to empower everyday storytellers and provide a global platform for creative voices.

A key feature of the finale was a panel discussion including experts from OPPO, Hasselblad, and Warner Bros. Discovery.

The panelists explored mobile imaging as a powerful “cultural connector” that lowers creative barriers and bridges the gap between smartphones and professional cameras.

As the series concludes, OPPO reaffirmed its commitment to imaging innovation and supporting global creators.

Key winners of the awards are as follows:

Gold Award: The top prize was awarded to the creator Boooya for the project titled “Dialect – The Fading Voice.” This compelling visual series documents the fragile state of dialect culture (from traditional opera to linguistic gaps between generations). The winner received USD 25,000 and the latest OPPO flagship devices.

Silver Awards: Three winners were recognized, including Ray Cheung for “Person from Another Place,” a poetic shot of a girl on a bus in St. Petersburg that reflects youth and solitude.

Bronze Awards: Six recipients were honored, including Abdullah Salah for “Timeless Framing,” which captured the El Mermah equestrian tradition using the OPPO Reno14 5G.

Other Recognitions: The competition recognized 60 photographers across various categories, including the newly added Honorable Mention, Audience’s Choice, and Regional Awards.
