Pre-orders for HUAWEI Mate Xs 2 start in Malaysia

The newest HUAWEI flagship foldable, HUAWEI Mate Xs 2 is available in Malaysia for pre-orders from 3 June 2022 until 23 June 2022.

It features the new double-rotating Falcon Wing Hinge that allows the 7.8″ True-Chroma Foldable Display to be utilized to its full potential when opened up.

Aside from that, the Mate Xs 2 also uses sophisticated materials such as glass fibres, titanium alloys and ultra-light, high strength steel for its structure, hence making it even more durable than it’s predecessor.

When unfolded, the display has a resolution of 2480x 2200 pixels, and this display supports a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, 1440Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, as well as up to 240Hz touch sampling rate.

HUAWEI Mate Xs 2 price and availability 

The foldable smartphone is priced at RM 7,999.

It comes in 2 colourways: Black and White, which both variants readily available at the stores below.

HUAWEI Malaysia says that those who pre-order the HUAWEI Mate Xs 2 stand to bring home freebies worth up to RM1,400 as well. Among the freebies is the HUAWEI GT 2 Pro smartwatch.
