OPPO has announced a new 12GB RAM + 512GB storage variant of its Reno16 Series during its Reno Summer Party in Kuala Lumpur, alongside a limited-edition collaboration with Pingu.
The new model is priced at RM3,499 and is available in Twilight Violet and Pop White. Customers who purchase it by 16 August 2026 will receive a RM200 rebate, an exclusive Reno16 Series Gift Box, and a one-year screen protection plan.
The Reno16 Series features OPPO‘s new 3D Pop Planet Design on the Pop White variant, powered by its proprietary HoloVerse 3D Technology, creating a dynamic floating planet visual effect on the phone’s back.
The device also emphasizes content creation with an Ultra-Clear Camera System and AI-powered tools such as Pop Cam, AI Flash Photography 3.0, AI Remix Collage, and AI Motion Photo Popout 2.0, all organized under a dedicated Create tab.
To complement the launch, OPPO has partnered with Pingu to release exclusive themed merchandise.
Customers who purchase OPPO Bubbles will receive a limited-edition Pingu Bubble Case while stocks last, reinforcing the campaign’s playful summer theme.
