The OPPO A98 5G has finally made its way to Malaysia with the mid-range smartphone being priced at RM1,399.
The A98 5G features a flagship-level battery performance with 67W SUPERVOOCTM charging, a large 5,000mAh battery, and OPPO’s Battery Health Engine.
It comes with a 6.7-inch 120Hz screen, OPPO’s RAM Expansion technology, and the latest ColorOS 13.1.
There’s two colour finishes — Dreamy Blue and Cool Black, both fingerprint-resistant finish.
It weighs 192g and measuring about 8.2 mm in thickness, with the smartphone also featuring a 3D Curved Back Cover.
Under the hood is a Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 695 5G Mobile Platform, which is paired with an 8GB RAM and 256GB large ROM of storage.
This storage supports up to 1TB SD card expansion and also OPPO’s RAM Expansion technology, converting up to 8GB of unused ROM storage into temporary RAM.
In terms of camera, the smartphone has a triple camera set-up consisting of a 64MP AI Camera, 2MP Depth Camera and 2MP Microlens. Up front, there’s a 32MP Selfie Camera.
The OPPO A98 5G is currently available in Malaysia via pre-orders with the official OPPO stores listed below retailing at RM1,399 with gifts worth up to RM377.
The gifts include an OPPO Band, True Wireless Earbuds, and 1+1-year warranty.
