HONOR has officially launched its new AI Aesthetic Flagship smartphones, the HONOR 200 Series in Malaysia today.
The smartphone consist of the HONOR 200 Pro and standard versions.
HONOR 200 Series highlights
Among the major highlight of thie new series is the flagship Studio-level Portrait Photography.
This is possible with the device’s powerful AI-enhanced HONOR AI Portrait Engine, co-engineered with renowned Paris based Studio Harcourt.
There are three exclusive Portrait Modes that consist of Harcourt Vibrant, Harcourt Colour and Harcourt Classic. These modes let users capture stunning portraits with Studio Harcourt’s signature light and shadow effects with the press of a button.
In addition to the powerful HONOR AI Portrait Engine, the HONOR 200 Pro features a main 50MP camera that uses the 1/1.3-inch H9000 Main Camera Sensor which was also used on the flagship HONOR Magic6 Pro for capturing images with exceptional detail. Holding its own, the standard version features a 50MP Main Camera with a Sony IMX906 Sensor.
Both phones also feature a 50MP Telephoto Camera using the new Sony IMX856 Sensor.
It is the first smartphones in the Malaysia market to feature this new sensor paired with a 12MP Ultra-wide and Macro-Camera. The series also features a Dual OIS (OIS+EIS) anti-shake system.
Also, the phone is the first HONOR number series to have the Magic AI Experience as seen on the premium HONOR Magic Series.
The HONOR 200 Pro adds two additional Magic AI features which are the AI Natural Tone 2.0 and AI Motion Sensing Capture.
Under the hood, the phone features a 5,200mAh Silicon-Carbon battery that is supported by 100W Wired HONOR SuperCharge, allowing for a full charge in just 41 minutes.
The Pro version offers an additional feature of 66W Wireless HONOR SuperCharge with compatible wireless chargers.
In addition, the HONOR 200 Pro features a 6.78-inch AMOLED Quad-curved Floating display with slim bezels while the standard version hosts a 6.7-inch AMOLED Quad-curved Floating Display.
The displays on both phones feature a peak HDR brightness of up to 4,000 nits, offering excellent visibility in all lighting conditions along with 3,840Hz Risk-Free Dimming for comfortable viewing.
For additional peace of mind, the displays are certified to have the prestigious TÜV Rheinland Flicker Free Display Certification and TÜV Rheinland Full Care Display Certification.
To offer efficient yet powerful performance, the HONOR 200 Pro comes with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen3 mobile processor and the HONOR C1+RF enhancement chipset to ensure optimum connectivity even in areas with poor network availability while also enhancing 5G network performance.
Meanwhile, the standard version features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 mobile processor that offers an optimum combination of performance and value. Additionally, both the pro and standard version are equipped with dual stereo speaker.
HONOR 200 Series Malaysia price and availability
The HONOR 200 Pro comes with a 12GB RAM+512GB storage configuration and is available in Ocean Cyan and Moonlight White colourways at RM2,699.
The HONOR 200 standard version is available in 12GB RAM+512GB storage (RM2,199) and 12GB RAM+256GB storage (RM1,899) with three attractive colourways consisting of Coral Pink, Moonlight White and Black.
