CMF, a sub-brand of London-based technology company Nothing, had recently announced a trio of new products namely the CMF Phone 1, CMF Watch Pro 2 and CMF Buds Pro 2.
CMF claims that he CMF Phone 1 is the ultimate daily smartphone. while the CMF Watch Pro 2 offers an interchangeable watch bezel design with the best-in-class performance.
Also, the CMF Buds Pro 2 boast dual drivers, LDAC™ technology, certified for Hi-Res Audio Wireless, 50 dB Smart ANC, and the pioneering Smart Dial Control.
CMF Phone 1 highlights
CMF claims that he CMF Phone 1 is the ultimate daily smartphone as it comes with the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 5G processor that has been co-engineered with Nothing.
It has a 5,000 mAh battery, which is paired with 16 GB RAM using RAM Booster.
The CMF Phone 1 also boast a Sony 50 MP rear camera with a dedicated portrait sensor for a more accurate bokeh effect. At the front of the phone is a 16 MP selfie camera.
The phone also has a 6.67” Super AMOLED with an ultra-smooth 120 Hz adaptive refresh rate.
Behind it all is the Nothing OS 2.6 which is filled with customisation abilities.
CMF Watch Pro 2 highlights
The CMF Watch Pro 2 is an upgrade of the already good CMF Watch Pro I’ve reviewed previously.
It has a 1.32’’ AMOLED always-on display that offers high resolution, and over 100 watch faces with customisable options.
It supports more than 120 sports modes and automatic recognition of 5 sports. It also provides round-the-clock monitoring of heart rate, blood oxygen saturation (SpO₂), and stress levels.
Bluetooth calls, music control as well as other intelligent features like receiving notifications, remotely controlling the camera, and checking the weather are also possible with the new Watch Pro 2 which is IP68 water and dust resistance rated and boasts a battery life of up to 11 days.
CMF Buds Pro 2
The CMF Buds Pro is one of my favourite earbuds to date. You can read my review of the Buds Pro here. The newer CMF Buds Pro 2 comes with even more additions with a customisable Smart Dial on the case.
It is powered by dual drivers which combine an 11 mm bass driver and a 6 mm tweeter.
Coupled with LDAC™ technology, certified for Hi-Res Audio Wireless and Dirac Opteo™, Buds Pro 2 is said to deliver wonderfully immersive and vibrant HiFi sound.
It also enjoyes advanced Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation of up to 50 dB and an expansive frequency range of up to 5000 Hz.
The earbud also comes with 6 HD mics featuring Clear Voice Technology 2.0 and Wind-Noise Reduction 2.0, and CMF’s very own Spatial Audio Effect.
Battery life is 43 hours and a quick 10-minute charge can give 7 hours of playback.
CMF Phone 1, Watch Pro 2 and Buds Pro 2 price an availability
The CMF Phone 1 retails at RM1,099 and will be available in the 8GB + 256GB configuration. Optional accessories for the Phone 1 include a case, stand, landyard and card case. The case will be given for free to customers while stocks last.
Meanwhile, the CMF Watch Pro 2 retails at RM339, with the the Bezel and Strap Set is sold saperately at RM99.
Lastly, the CMF Buds Pro 2 retails at RM299.
All devices will be available for purchase at official CMF online stores as well an offial CMF retailers from 15 July 2024.
