Google had scheduled the beta-launch of the Android 11 on June 3rd, but they have decided not to go forward with the Android 11 event.
According to their latest tweet official Android Developers Twitter, the beta-launch of the Android 11 will be in the near future, without any exact date.
While I am unsure what’s the core reason to the delay, tech sites have suggested that it was due to the ongoing tension in Oakland, Los Angeles.
We are excited to tell you more about Android 11, but now is not the time to celebrate. We are postponing the June 3rd event and beta release. We’ll be back with more on Android 11, soon.

I am hopeful that the delay will not implicate the development of the Android 11 itself, but like you, I do have to wait for the next update on the new OS (Operating system).
Regardless, I’ll keep you posted on the developments here.
