The powerbank works very well with the Xiaomi 17, but for the sake of comparison, I’ve also attached it to my Apple 17 Pro Max.

Xiaomi claims this is one of the absolute slimmest portable chargers on the market, coming in at a mind-boggling 6mm thick and weighing a mere 98g.
To achieve this, they utilized a high-density silicon-carbon battery technology, which basically means they squeezed more juice into a much smaller space than traditional batteries.
Alongside the form factor, the device boasts a 5,000 mAh capacity. It also features up to 15 watts of wireless charging, 22.5 watts of wired charging via a USB-C port, and the ability to charge two devices at the same time.
The goal here is ultimate portability without sacrificing the essential power needed to get you through a long day.
Design, body and durability
Holding this Xiaomi power bank for the first time is genuinely surprising. It feels more like a premium smartphone component than a standard third-party accessory.
The body is wrapped in a smooth, cold-to-the-touch aluminum alloy frame with a sleek back panel that snaps securely into place. Because it is so incredibly thin, it practically disappears when attached to the back of a phone.
When I snapped it onto the Xiaomi 17, the integration looks as seamless and ergonomic in the hand, but for the power bank didn’t stick to the back of the phone although wireless charging was activated with or without a casing. The power bank does hold its place, but it also gets displaced easily.
I queried Xiaomi about this and they told me it is largely due to the material used for the phone’s body.
A simple fix is to buy one of those third party cases which has a magnetic circle, allowing the power bank to snap on firmer. You can find a sample HERE.
On the Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max, it also did not block the enormous camera lenses at all, but here the magnetic grip was incredibly strong, even with a case. This is largely due to the iPhone having an alluminium back, which aids to the magnetic strength of the power bank.
Also, since I am not one to baby my tech, I threw this power bank into my pocket alongside my house keys and loose change to see how it would fare in the real world. After a week of less-than-gentle treatment, the metallic finish held up remarkably well.
While you might notice a few micro-scratches if you inspect it under harsh lighting, the structural integrity is rock solid.

In my testing, attaching it to the Xiaomi 17 delivered a very consistent 15W wireless charge, which gave me enough power to comfortably top up the device and get through a heavy day of GPS navigation and camera use.
On the iPhone 17 Pro Max, Apple limits third-party wireless chargers to seven and a half watts, so the charging is noticeably slower, acting more as a battery maintainer to keep your percentage from dropping rather than a rapid charging solution.
However, if you are in a rush, the wired charging option is where this device truly shines. Plugging a USB-C cable from the power bank directly into either phone delivers 22.5W of fast charging, quickly reviving a dying battery.
Another massive advantage is the pass-through charging feature. This means that it proritizes charging my device first before the power bank.
This can be done by plugging the power bank into the wall and lay my phone on top of it.
Somehow, the powerbank intelligently charged my phone first, and then juiced up the power bank later, meaning I get two devices fully charged using just a single wall outlet. It is a fantastic feature that sets it apart from many cheaper competitors on the market.

It is not designed for someone going off the grid for a week-long camping trip but rather for the everyday user who wants peace of mind during a long workday, a night out, or a long commute without ruining the comfort and ergonomics of their smartphone. If you own a Xiaomi 17 Series smartphone, the power bank is an amazing power back-up since the batteries in the Xiaomi 17 series last all day and it is very unlikely you will need a power bank to charge up.
Regardless, when you do need to have that ‘extra safety net’ just in case you do run out of juice, thei incredibly well-built, highly reliable, and practically invisible fits right in your pocket or handbag, minus all the bulk and weight.
