vivo Malaysia unveiled the new vivo Y76 5G which is a a mid-range smartphone with a 6.58-inch FHD+ Incell screen, a 50MP AI triple camera system and up to 12GB of RAM experience.
The entry of the smartphone was announced by vivo Malaysia a few days ago.
vivo Y76 5G highlights
As a mid-range smartphone, the Y76 5G of course can’t beat flagship devices, but the 6.58-inch FHD+ Incell screen does support high colour saturation which in turn delivers vivid visual experience.
Like most of vivo’s smartphones nowadays, the Y76 5G also comes with Eye Protection Mode which is supposed to protect your eyes from being strained.
To put it simply, the Y76 is actually a mid range gaming smartphone, and this is made obvious with the emphasis on its Ultra Game Mode 2.0 and Multi-Turbo capabilities which is said to further enhance gaming experience.
The gaming experience is then further enhanced with 4D Game Vibration and Extended RAM technology which will allow users to experience 12GB RAM experience from its physical 8GB RAM.
Gaming smartphones are rarely big on the camera end, but a 50MP AI triple camera system to me is rather generous. The whole system comes with a 50MP main camera which is paired with a 2MP bokeh camera and 2MP macro camera.
Up front, a generous 16MP camera ensure selfies will also look nice.
The smartphone itself is pretty thin at 7.79mm thin but the camera bump does increase it’s thickness slightly.
The smartphone is definitely on the light side as it weighs only 175g nonetheles.
In terms of power, the smartphone comes with a 4,100 mAh battery which features 44W FlashCharge.
It runs on the latest Funtouch OS 12 and comes in two colours which are Midnight Space and Cosmic Aurora.

vivo Malaysia retails the Y76 at RM1,299 with pre-order is now available at all vivo concept stores, authorized dealers, vivo Malaysia’s official E-store, and flagship store on Shopee and Lazada, until 26 November 2021.
