Another tablet was made available this week is the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 SE.
Unlike the Apple iPad 2021 and Xiaomi Pad 5, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 SE is readily available in the Malaysian market.
Samsung Malaysia announced this more affordable tablet , the more affordable, fan edition of the much beloved Galaxy Tab S7+. Let’s take a took at the specs to see what’s the value proposition this time around.
The tablet isn’t exactly new to be honest, announced in May 2021, and released in June the same year.
That said, it took almost four months to reach Malaysia.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE highlights
Compared to the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+, the tab S7 FE is sort of a downgrade. But that doesn’t entirely mean it’s bad, especially considering its pricing.
FE or Fan Edition products by Samsung are more geared towards affordability so you can’t expect high end specifications.
Despite that, the Tab S7 FE does still look good in its aluminium body frame, with it’s large 12.4-inch screen.
It offers good app support and despite the reduction of the speaker numbers, the sound produced is tuned still tune by AKD and support Dolby Atmos.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 SE price and availability
The Galaxy Tab S7 FE is available in 3 colours; Mystic Black, Mystic Silver, and Mystic Pink.
There’s two variants to choose from namely the 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM and the 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM.
In terms of retail pricing, the 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM is priced at RM1,899 while the other variant is priced at RM2,199.
If I am you, I will get the variant with the bigger storage because 64GB these days is way too little for apps that are constantly getting bigger.
