If your budget is tight, but you want to upgrade or change your phone to something new, consider the Xiaomi Redmi 5A which was recently launched in Malaysia for just RM399.

Despite the low price however, the specs are pretty decent, with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processors running the show under the hood.

Pairing the smartphone is a 2GB RAM, 16GB of expandable storage, and a 5-inch 720p IPS displays, which is all powered by a 3,000mAh battery.

The Remi 5A comes with a 13MP rear and 5MP front-facing shooter, and the rear camera has autofocus detection. This is a huge leap from what its predecessor has to offer.

In terms of pricing, Xiaomi’s official store on Lazada will begin selling the phone exclusively for RM399 beginning 12 December onwards, but if you can’t wait, the Redmi 4A is now sold starting from RM340 at Lazada Malaysia.
