Relentless Pursuit of Details
The OPPO Reno5 series features an all-new camera system featuring a 64MP rear quadcam matrix and a 32MP ultra-clear front camera. Powered by the OPPO Full Dimension Fusion (FDF) Portrait Video System, OPPO has managed to introduce a powerful range of AI-assisted features.
It is known collectively as the AI Highlight Video – the first feature in the industry to automatically detect ambient light in a scene and improve the video’s quality accordingly by applying OPPO’s industry-leading Ultra Night Video Algorithms and Live HDR Algorithms.
In the case of dark environments, Ultra Night Video Algorithms will come into play automatically to brighten the scene, while detection of backlit scenes will engage Live HDR Algorithms to reduce overexposed areas.
Both functions leave videos with better exposure and brightness, less noise, and clear and natural colours with just one click of the “AI” button while in video mode.
There is also a new Dual-view Video feature that enables video to be captured from the front and rear cameras simultaneously.
This double-perspective recording function effortlessly stitches a video featuring both the user and the subject being captured, in the same video frame at once – perfect for those who want to enter the vlogging scene.
FDF is essentially an imaging system designed for superior portrait video effects, and is composed of two engines, the Quality Enhancement Engine and the Portrait Perception Engine.
The Quality Enhancement Engine helps capture clear video in any conditions, whether in night or backlit scenes, while in motion or standing still.
The Portrait Perception Engine on the other hand defines fine-grained criteria for portrait effects to help deliver naturally processed human subjects and backgrounds videos.
Together, the highly intuitive system delivers an unmatched experience that not only captures portrait videos in perfect quality but does so in a way that can help users to maintain their unique style, particularly when vlogging.
While on the subject of vlogging, both devices in the Reno5 series 5G offer the Portrait Beautification Video, a feature that is capable of detecting as many as 194 key facial feature points to provide tailored optimisations specifically based on each individual.
Within the feature are 8 customisable tools, offering greater freedom to refine portrait details.
Users also have access to differentiated beauty effects for group images, bringing out the diversity of each individual and creating a look that suits everyone’s tastes.
Last, but not least in the imaging department, is the upgraded performance of portrait shots, thanks to the OPPO Image-clear Engine. This system-level optimisation allows users to take clear snaps of moving subjects, or quickly capture unforgettable moments as and when they occur.
The phone also supports AI Scene Enhancement，providing tailored optimisation for colour, saturation and brightness in 22 different scenes, including cats, text, fireworks, sunrises and sunsets.

Enchanting Colours and Design
The Reno5 series 5G are available in two beautiful and mesmerising colours – Galactic Silver and Starry Black.
With the brand-new Diamond Spectrum process, the Galactic Silver creates a whole new visual effect that can bring out thousands of colours, depending on the direction of light. When looking from different angles or in different lighting, the phone appears in completely new colours.
Galactic Silver is also finished with the Reno Glow process, which is a unique AG glass process designed by OPPO, giving it a subtle glittery detail on the back cover, as though millions of diamonds are embedded into it, while being fingerprint resistant.

Besides, the Arm Mali-G77 GPU delivers 181% improvement in GPU performance for the most demanding games.
Powered by the Dimensity 1000+, the Reno5 Pro can achieve up to 3.54Gbps theoretical peak download speeds. Meanwhile, the latest Wi-Fi 6 standard is supported for reliable, ultra-fast and comprehensive connectivity.

The OPPO Reno5 5G is priced at RM1,899, while the Reno5 Pro 5G is priced at RM2,599.
