realme Malaysia today officially launched its first laptop, the realme Book 2021.
The laptop is powered by the 11th Gen Intel® Core™ Processor and it’s slim body and professional looks suggest that it is aimed for those always on the go like businessmen and students.
realme Book 2021 highlights
When it comes to laptops, there’s really not much that separates every brand other than it’s pricing, and build (design).
This is the same for the Book 2021 which shares similar specifications to other newly released laptops.
However, being one of the latest laptops in the market, the Book 2021 comes with the latest 11th Gen Intel® Core™ Processor with powerful Intel® Iris® Xe Graphics. There’s an Intel i3 and intel i5 options available at the moment for the Malaysian market.
The combo allows speedy work at low power use, with gaming settings able to hit 2K Resolution.
The laptop comes with a 14” 2K Full Vision Display with ultra-narrow bezel. This indirectly affects the laptop as it allows the laptop to be smaller in size while having a 14″ screen. In terms of size and weight, the realme laptop is just 14.9mm thick and weighs 1.38kg.
In terms of audio, realme Book comes with 2 HARMAN speakers that support DTS HD stereo sound.
A dual-fan Storm Cooling System with 8mm diameter dual heat pipes, ultra-thin high speed and high airflow dual fans are equipped to prevent realme Book from overheating.
realme claims that the their realme Book is equipped with Fast Charging technology through its 54Wh battery.
The brand claims that the battery can play 1080p videos for up to 11 hours and the support of the 65W Super Fast Charge Technology powers up the laptop to 50% in just 30 minutes.

Aside from the functions above, the realme Book also introduces a brand new function called PC connect that allows users to link their realme smartphones to their realme Book, control their realme smartphone from the realme Book.
Price and availability
realme Malaysia says that the realme Book 2021 will be offered in three variants through its first sale on Shopee.
Those buying it then can choose from two colors which are Real Blue and Real Grey.

- realme Book i5 8GB+512GB – RRP: RM3,499
- realme Book i5 16GB+512GB RRP: RM3,999
The realme Book can be purchased via Shopee, SENHENG, Courts, and all realme Authorized Stores from 27th August onwards.
