The new OPPO A77s was officially announced in Malaysia and OPPO Malaysia claims it features upgrades in photography, entertainment, and ColorOS 12.1 operating system.

According to OPPO Malaysia, this smartphone’s best capabilities come in it’s battery life and capabilities.
It comes with 33W SUPERVOOCTM Flash Charge, that can be charged from 0% to 100% in about 71 minutes, with a 5-minute charge is enough to provide 2.98 hours of phone calls .
OPPO claims the 5,000mAh battery can provide more than 14 days of standby or over 17 hours of typical YouTube video viewing.
Aside from that, overvoltage and overcurrent protection technologies are also added as the charging hardware protection including in this smartphone with the company claiming that there’s Optimized Night Charging capabilities as well equipped in the smartphone.
This capabilities mean that the smartphone’s AI can learn users’ sleeping habits and set a tailored charging plan to prevent over-charging of the battery.
Other than that, the OPPO A77s is equipped with a 50MP AI Dual Camera.
OPPO claims that its dual Ultra-Linear Stereo Speaker with DIRAC 3.0 delivers higher-quality stereo audio with enhanced volume in videos, while the 6.56-inch Colour-Rich display with a 90Hz high refresh rate ensures a smooth and comfortable display for users to enjoy high-definition video content and games on.
The A77s is powered by the Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 680 4G Mobile Platform, and paired with 8GB RAM + 128GB storage space.
The RAM comes with RAM Expansion technology which can boost the RAM by 5GB, while additional storage is supported via an SD card expansion which can hold up to 1TB ROM.
OPPO decided to use its Ultra-Slim Retro Design for the body of the OPPO A77s, making the smartphone just 7.99mm thick and weighs only 187g.
The company claims the smartphone has gone through more than 130 ultra-rigorous reliability tests and more than 320 comprehensive quality tests to prove it is resistant to water splashes, scratches, abrasion, and other common wear and tear.
On top of that, OPPO has also decided to include the ColorOS 12.1 in the A77s which means it benefits from enhanced data privacy and information security.
Last but not least, the smartphone comes in two colours; Sky Blue and Starry Black.
