OPPO Malaysia today announced their latest entry to its A Series – the OPPO A16 for Malaysia.
The smartphone offer high performance in a sleek package, and its built for users who love simple, stylish designs and won’t compromise when it comes to their daily needs.
OPPO A16 highlights
The OPPO A16 comes with a large 6.52” 1600 x 720 (HD+) screen with Eye Care Display.
It also has a side fingerprint unlock feature which would be pretty handy during this pandemic especially when using a mask.
On top of that, the smartphone also gets a 3GB RAM and a 32GB storage that’s expandable to up to 256GB via an external memory card.
The smartphone has a high-end triple camera setup which features a 13 MP main camera, a 2 MP depth (bokeh) camera, and a 2 MP macro camera.
In front, there’s an 8 MP camera and the smartphone is powered by a 5,000mAh battery.
It weighs 190g and comes in three fashionable colors – Crystal Black, Pearl Blue, and Space Silver, which are finished with a premium AG frost matte that prevents fingerprints.

OPPO Malaysia says the smartphone will be available starting 19th August 2021 via the OPPO Online Store and OPPO’s official Shopee channel.
The recommended retail price of RM549 and those buying the smartphone from the 19th to 26th August via Shopee will enjoy a first sales price at RM529 and receive a 32GB Strontium Micro SD Card (worth RM31.50) for added storage and an 8”x 8” Hard Cover Photobook Voucher (worth RM119) to display captured memories elegantly!
