The realme GT7 Pro is the first ever smartphone in Malaysia to have the most powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite.
This smartphone has a monumental AnTuTu benchmark of over 3 million and is Qualcomm’s first two prime core with six performence core Oryon architecture.
The realme GT7 Pro is also the first every Android smartphone which surpases Apple due to the processor.
Quick links to my first impression of the phone are seen below.
Box and package
The reale GT7 Pro packaging is similar to most realme smartphones sold out there with the larger sized black box differentiating it from the less premium variants which tend to come in yellow.
Inside, there phone is better presented and wrapped compared to those of the C-series or numbers series I’ve reviewed before, signalling that realme wants this phone to be significantly different from the rest.

There is six things in the box being the smartphone itself, the USB-C cable, the 120W charging block, the SIM tray pin, some instructions and a very nice looking black silicone case.
First impression of the realme GT7 Pro
The phone feels right at home in my palms although it does feel heavy in my pocket at 222.8g. Despite that, the Mars Orange I received is such a delight to see and touch because it reminds me of those nice wooden patterns, and is so soft like I am touching silk.
Despite my opinion, the Mars Orange is actually inspired by the surface of Mars, and the midle bezel of the realme GT7 Pro is made using aircraft-standard aluminium.
The camera bump is a huge step away from the typical circular camera bump I’m always seeing in smartphones these days, and is nicely made to look as a set with the phone.
Both the rear design as well as the camera bump does not attract fingerprints and gives a very premium look to the phone.

In front the screen of the phone is a 6,78″ AMOLED screen which was previously only available on Samsung foldables.
This screen has 120% DCI-P3 Gamut, which is the most colourful display in the industry. A 16MP camera is also fitted in the pin hole camera on the screen.
The quad-curved display makes holding and using the phone feel more comfortable.

There’s only speaker holes on the top of the phone, while the bottom phone has a USB-C port, speaker holes and the SIM tray slot.
The left of the phone is empty, and the right has the power/fingerprint scanner as well as the volume buttons.
Overall, the design of the phone is pretty impressive and it is very unfortunate you’d have to cover the rear of the phone with a case if you wanted to protect the phone from accidental drops.

Conclusion of the realme GT7 Pro
Although the phone does come with one of the highest ever IP ratings for a smartphone, which is IP69, the phone does feel delicate particularly when I touch the soft and smooth back.

It is not that the phone is flimpsy or fragile, it’s just that the phone’s back is so nice, I worry I could scratch it’s beautiful back.
Nonetheless, the phone itself is one of the best from the outside in my opinion, and I can’t wait to deep deeper into what the realme GT7 Pro has to offer as realme’s flagship device.
