This sentiment was echoed by Tom’s Guide, which highlighted that the HONOR Magic V3 feels more like a sleek, high-performance smartphone than a traditional foldable. Offering a balance of portability and innovation, it delivers a premium and versatile user experience that seamlessly transitions between compact and expansive screen modes.
Beta testers of the HONOR Magic V3 have shared glowing feedback, highlighting its thin and light design, durability, and real-world usability.
“It’s super thin and light, making it pocket-friendly and easier to hold,” said beta tester Ian Thang Cheok Hung.
Another beta tester Lim Kok Wei shared, “I haven’t experienced tired eyes or discomfort when using the HONOR Magic V3 for extended periods, even though I’m prone to motion sickness.”
Dzulmajdi Mohamed Zom, another beta user, commended its voice recording transcription feature, which automatically translates recordings into Bahasa Malaysia text. He said, “This makes it a valuable tool for my work, especially during meetings and conferences. It has made note-taking more efficient and seamless.”
Naveena Jeevan Kumar tested the phone’s resilience and also commented “My baby took the phone, chewed on it and even slammed it closed but the phone survived!”
The HONOR Magic V3 is the brand’s third foldable and its no surprise it made TIME’s Best Inventions of 2024 list considering its predecessor, the HONOR Magic V2, which I had reviewed HERE, is already quite a charmer.
