HUAWEI announced the latest HUAWEI Matepad 10.4 for 2022 last April and it improves on a few things compered to its predecessor.
The tablet which is one of HUAWEI’s more affordable tablets gets a new processor, a new operating system and improves on its camera system.
Here I detail on the highlights of this new HUAWEI Matepad 10.4 2022, and give my personal opinion at the end of the specs that’s highlighted.

HUAWEI Matepad 10.4 2022 Highlights
The tablet comes in Midnight Grey in which is using a matte coating to reduce fingerprint smudges and provide better grip.
Inside, it is powered by a new processor, the HiSilicon Kirin 710A CPU and comes with a 13MP rear camera, and an 8MP selfie camera. Both the processor and camera set-up is an upgrade from its predecessor.
The 4GB of RAM is paired with a 128GB of storage space which is expandable and the quad-speaker and quad-channel sound system is using the Histen 6.0 3D stereo and sound by Harman Kardon.
Such combination means the physical sound produced by the speakers is something worth to elaborate and enjoy, especially when watching movies.
Compared to its predecessor, the new HUAWEI Matepad 10.4 for 2022 comes with the new HarmonyOS 2.0 operating system and is now LTE able.
It’s retains the same 7,250mAh battery and can be paired with the M-Pencil as well as the HUAWEI Smart Keyboard with some apps tailor made to make virtual classroom and remote workplace experience smoother and more seamless.
Opinion on HUAWEI Matepad 10.4 2022
There just some slight bump in specification for the MatePad 10.4 if compare to its predecessor, but I personally do not feel such improvements warrant an upgrade if you already own the older version.
I personally feel the 128GB internal storage to be just adequate, but do welcome the improvements made to the sound system.
