Asus has just announced their Asus ROG Flow Z13 which is a powerful a 2-in-1 convertible gaming laptop.
The laptop which can convert itself into a tablet, has a 360-degree hinge and it’s the rotation of this keyboard that allows it to take the size of a tablet, although at 13.4-inch, it’s going to be quite a big ‘tablet’.

But regardless, inside, there’s an impressive Intel Core i9-12900H processor with 16GB of rapid LPDDR5 RAM which is paired with 1TB NVMe SSD.
It comes with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti graphics card, which will be able to run most games without much fuss.
As mentioned, the Asus ROG Flow Z13 comes with a 13.4-inch, but this is a 16:10 IPS display that can be configured to either 4K resolution and 60Hz refresh rate, or a FHD resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate.
There’s a kickstand at the back of the display with a detachable keyboard which has a 360-degree hinge I was talking about earlier.
Asus claims the laptop will perform ‘quietly’ and will be ‘cool’ during its operations but we will only know if that also applies to its gaming more.
First impressions about the ROG Flow Z13
Personally, I like the idea of having a 2-in-1 gaming laptop.
This is despite my experience telling me that it’s very likely the laptop will likely hardly see the tablet form because it’s too bulky despite it’s size.
However, the novelty of having such option at your disposal is appealing enough especially to those who are constantly travelling and do not want to miss their gaming sessions, or for those who tend to have sudden amount of free time available when they are on the road.
Asus ROG Flow Z13 Malaysia price and availability
The laptop is likely to be pricey, and I have not heard when Asus Malaysia will bring it in to the local market.

Regardless, the Asus ROG Flow Z13 is still a very interesting product which will appeal to those who would find it very useful when travelling.
