If you own the Xioami MiA1, and you are keen to be among the first few to use Android Oreo on MiA1, plus you don’t mind a few, or many bugs when you do use a phone, then you are partially qualified to sign up as a beta tester for the Android Oreo on the Xiaomi MiA1.
Yes, Xiaomi is now looking for beta testers for the coming Android Oreo update but it is exclusive for those using the MiA1 for obvious reasons – the MiA1 is the sole AndroidOne smartphone under the brand.
The opportunity is open to any MiA1 user regardless of region, and the language used to communicate would be English. Other qualifications include the interest to test the Oreo ROM, have some knowledge about ROMs, being active in the MIUI forum, and of course willing to participate in discussions held in regards to the ROM.
That said, those applying are also requested to open a QQ account as it will be used as the main means of communication.
Aside from that, users are also requested to key in their MiA1 EMEI numbers, and fill in some basic details like their location, and time range they have used the phone.
