The vivo Y35 smartphone has been launched officially in Malaysia over the week.
The smartphone comes with increased storage, the first largest RAM smartphone within the same price range, a massive 5,000mAh battery and 44W FlashCharge and IP5X dust-resistant rating.
vivo Y35 highlights
The all-new Y35 boasts a broad 6.58-inch FHD display with a 2408×1080 resolution and P3 colour gamut. It offers a high touch sampling rate and refresh rate of up to 90Hz with the display having a maximum brightness of 550 nits.
It has a flat frame design with 2.5D curvature and symmetrical rounded corners on both the front and back.
Aside from that, the smartphone is IPX4 water-resistant and IP5X dust-resistant.
The smartphone comes with a fingerprint scanner which is integrated with the power button on the device’s side, and it also has Face Wake feature.
Under the hood of this Y series smartphone is a Snapdragon® 680 processor built on flagship-level 6nm process.
This processor offers a max clock speed of up to 2.4GHz.
The processor is complemented with vivo’s latest Extended RAM 3.0 technology that extends its 8GB RAM with an additional 8GB virtual memory. This brings the total of RAM to 16GB RAM.
In terms of storage, the smartphone has a 256GB internal storage which is extendable as well up to 1TB.
The 5,000mAh battery can hold power for 14.3 hours of online HD movie streaming, or 7.05 hours of graphic-intensive games.
This battery is equipped with 44W FlashCharge which means the device can be charge to 70% sufficient power in only 34 minutes .
The camera system features a triple camera setup with a 50MP main camera.
There’s a 2MP bokeh camera and 2MP macro camera as well. Up front, there’s a 16MP HD front camera
Price and Availability Information
The vivo Y35 is available in Agate Black and Dawn Gold through vivo Malaysia.
Irrespective of colour, the smartphone retails at RM1,099 with pre-orders now open until August 16 2022 at the stores below.
Customers who pre-ordered the vivo Y35 series from 12 to 16 August will be entitled to free gifts worth up to RM547*, including brand vouchers, vivo sports crossbody bag, 1-year extended warranty, and 1-year screen crack protection warranty.
