Suunto Aqua launched at RM1,099

Suunto has just launched the Suunto Aqua, a groundbreaking bone-conduction headset designed specifically for water sports enthusiasts and athletes.

According to the brand, this strategic product launch marks Suunto’s bold entry into a new market segment, combining cutting-edge audio technology with advanced performance monitoring as it is more than just a pair of waterproof headphones but is an entertainment solution, training tool, and communication device.

Suunto Aqua advantages

It weighs only 35 grams, and offers a snug, open-ear design with bone conduction technology to keep ears clear and aware of the surroundings.

Suunto claims that this enhances both comfort and safety in the water.

The Suunto Aqua is also purpose-built to measure swims, analyzing stroke posture, head pitch, breath frequency, and glide time.

Out of the water, it monitors neck fatigue and mobility, as well as uses jump tests to measure muscle fatigue.

Data recorded will appear in the linked Suunto app.

In addition, the headset also has a streamlined, minimalist button design, dual microphones, noise cancellation, and hands-free functionality.

A 10-minute charge offers up to 3 hours of power, with the Suunto Aqua offering 10 hours of total play time (and up to 30 hours with the included power bank).

It also comes with 32GB of offline audio storage to enable downloads from favorite podcasts, audiobooks, or music from sites like Amazon, Apple Music, or audiobookstore.com.
