Redmi launched the Redmi 10X series in their Chinese market today.
Known as the Redmi 10X and Redmi 10X Pro. both phones with a 6.57-inch Samsung AMOLED display offering Full HD+ screen resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, HDR10, DC Dimming, and 800 nit peak brightness.
Both phones also come com with an in-display fingerprint sensor which is now a norm for most phones.
Powering both smartphones is a MediaTek Dimensity 820 5G chipset which is claimed to have been optimized and score 415,672 points on the AnTuTu benchmark.
Both the Redmi 10X and Redmi 10X Pro support 5G + 5G dual standby which means both SIM cards can be on 5G simultaneously.
The phones also come have a maximum of 8GB RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage.
The difference between both phones is notable in the camera department with the Redmi 10X having a triple-camera setup that includes a 48MP main shooter, an 8 MP wide-angle lens, and a 2MP depth sensor.
In front, the 10X comes with a 16MP selfie camera.
The Redmi 10X Pro on the other hand has a quad-camera setup that consists of a 48MP main camera, an 8MP zoom lens with 30X digital zoom support, an 8MP wide-angle lens, and a 5MP macro lens.
In front, there’s a 20MP selfie camera for the 10X Pro.
Both the Redmi 10X and Redmi 10XPro will use Xiaomi’s MIUI 12 which is based on Android 10.
Juicing up both smartphones is a 4,520mAh battery which supports fast charging.

The Redmi 10X will be on sale from June 1, while the Redmi 10X Pro will be sold beginning June 5.
Botth phones are available in three colours namely blue, volet, and gold.
