DJI has officially launched the DJI Osmo 360 II in Malaysia, introducing its latest flagship 360° camera with upgraded imaging capabilities, enhanced low-light performance and a range of features aimed at action sports enthusiasts, vloggers and professional content creators.
The new Osmo 360 II builds on DJI’s experience in aerial imaging, gimbal stabilisation and action cameras. It combines technologies developed across DJI’s imaging ecosystem into a compact 360° camera designed to capture footage from virtually every angle.
For Malaysian users, the DJI Osmo 360 II will be offered in three configurations, with prices starting from RM2,189.
1-Inch Square HDR Sensor Supports 8K/60fps 360° Video
One of the biggest highlights of the DJI Osmo 360 II is its advanced 1-inch square HDR image sensor.
According to DJI, the sensor maintains the same 360° field of view as a traditional 1-inch rectangular sensor while improving sensor utilisation by 25%. The camera offers up to 14.5 stops of dynamic range, giving it a wider brightness range for capturing details in challenging lighting conditions.
The Osmo 360 II can record 8K 360° video at up to 60fps, making it suitable for fast-moving subjects and action sports where retaining detail and reducing motion blur are important.
The camera also uses large 2.4μm pixels and DJI’s updated imaging processing to improve overall image quality.
AI SuperNight 2.0 Targets Low-Light Recording
Night shooting is another major focus of the Osmo 360 II.
DJI’s new AI SuperNight 2.0 noise-reduction technology is designed to produce cleaner and brighter footage in low-light environments.
This makes the camera particularly useful for nighttime activities, city walks, evening rides and other situations where lighting conditions are less predictable.
Built for Action Sports
The Osmo 360 II is designed to be used across a wide range of activities, including motorcycling, diving, skiing, mountain biking and road cycling.
For motorcyclists, Gesture Control and Voice Control allow recording to be started without taking hands away from the handlebars.
The camera is also waterproof to 10 metres without additional equipment, while the Invisible Waterproof Case can extend underwater operation to 50 metres.
For colder environments, the Osmo 360 II can operate at temperatures as low as -20°C.
120MP HDR Photos and 16K Timelapse
The Osmo 360 II is not limited to video recording.
It can capture 120MP HDR 360° photos, allowing users to preserve panoramic scenes with a high level of detail.
The camera also supports 16K 360° timelapse, while its Clouds mode is designed to capture sweeping movements in the sky over an extended period.
For slow-motion content, the camera supports 8K/120fps Vortex recording, while DJI Studio’s AI frame interpolation can create up to 64x panoramic slow motion in post-production.
10-bit Colour and D-Log M
For creators who want greater flexibility during editing, the Osmo 360 II supports 10-bit colour depth across its video formats.
DJI says this allows the camera to capture more than one billion colours.
The inclusion of D-Log M also gives creators greater flexibility for colour grading and post-production, making the camera more suitable for professional video workflows.
Spotlight Follow Keeps Subjects Centred
DJI has also upgraded the camera’s software capabilities with Spotlight Follow.
The feature intelligently tracks a selected subject and keeps it centred in the frame even as the camera rotates.
This can reduce the need for extensive reframing after recording, particularly when shooting dynamic action sequences.
The DJI Mimo app also receives workflow improvements, while a new NFC connection area allows users to quickly connect the camera to a compatible device with a single tap.
105GB Built-In Storage
Storage is another area where DJI has made a significant change.
The Osmo 360 II comes with 105GB of built-in storage, giving users additional space to record footage without immediately relying on an external storage device.
The camera weighs just 183g, making it relatively easy to carry during travel, cycling, motorcycling and other activities.
Battery life is rated at up to 100 minutes of continuous 8K/30fps recording. DJI says the battery can reach 80% charge in approximately 22 minutes.
Using the Battery Extension Rod can further extend recording time by up to 180 minutes.
Replaceable Ultra-Hard Lenses
The Osmo 360 II features a new replaceable lens design, addressing one of the key concerns associated with 360° cameras.
Both lenses use an ultra-hard optical film designed to improve scratch and wear resistance. If a lens is damaged, users can replace it instead of having to replace the entire camera.
Designed for the DJI Ecosystem
The camera features a built-in four-microphone array and wind-noise reduction system for improved onboard audio.
It also supports DJI’s OsmoAudio Direct Microphone Connection, with compatibility across DJI’s microphone ecosystem, including DJI Mic 3, DJI Mic 2 and other supported DJI microphones.
The dual-direction quick-release system allows the camera to be mounted magnetically on either side, while a 1/4-inch thread provides compatibility with traditional camera accessories and other DJI Osmo equipment.
DJI Osmo 360 II Malaysia Price
The DJI Osmo 360 II will be available in Malaysia in three configurations:
- DJI Osmo 360 II Standard Combo — RM2,189
- DJI Osmo 360 II Adventure Combo — RM2,629
- DJI Osmo 360 II Limitless Riding Combo — RM2,299
DJI says the specific Malaysian availability date will be announced later in September 2026.
Free DJI Care Refresh Launch Promotion
As part of the launch promotion, customers who purchase and activate an eligible DJI Osmo 360 II Series product between 2 September and 30 September 2026 will receive a free DJI Care Refresh 1-Year Plan.
The benefit is expected to be activated within seven working days following device activation.
