OPPO Malaysia has announced that its very first tablet for Malaysia in the OPPO Pad Air. The tablet will be making its debut in the country alongside the OPPO Reno8 Series 5G.
The arrival of this tablet signals OPPO’s entry into the Malaysian tablet market which has seen some sort of revival of late.

According to the company, the tablet will be an ultra-thin tablet at just 6.49mm with an agile floating screen design.
It will feature a 10.36-inch 2K 1 billion colors screen with TÜV Rheinland Eye Comfort Certification, immersive 3D sound experience, and Dolby Atmos Quad-speaker symmetrical stereo. Having the strength to ‘move’ sounds across a three-dimensional space, Dolby Atmos speakers are able to create an immersive sound stage, transporting listeners to a sensory realm of the highest level.
As you may already know, the Pad comes equipped with Android 12 via ColorOS 12, a USB-C port, and Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity.
It doesn’t have cellular connectivity which means it will just be Wi-Fi ready.

Just for reference, the OPPO Pad Air is offered from CNY 1,299 (~RM 855) abroad, and they come in two different colours and variations. It is likely OPPO Malaysia will not veer far from this official pricing once they announce the tablet in Malaysia as well.

Other devices to be launched
As mentioned above, the tablet will be launched with the OPPO Reno8 Series 5G, with OPPO Malaysia also introducing it’s latest ANC True Wireless Earbuds in the Enco Air2 Pro this time around.
There’s no official date for the launch of all three products so far, but it is exciting to know it will be happening sometime this month.
