OnePlus has revealed they will be globally releasing the upcoming OnePlus Series, featuring the OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R flagship devices on January 23, 2024. The smartphone series was announced in China recently.
Meanwhile, the announcement of the device going global was made in a video.
During the video, OnePlus also used the occasion to reveal new information about its upcoming OnePlus 12 Series.
A decade in the making, the OnePlus 12 Series has been developed to address an industry-wide challenge in balancing high-performance, high-power consumption, effective heat dissipation, and longevity.
The two devices, the OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R, are designed to prove that a smartphone doesn’t need to be “Plus” “Pro” or “Ultra” to provide the best hardware specs and software experience.
Instead, the dual flagship OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R each have their own unique attributes that give users the choice to pick what’s important for them on their next smartphone.
The OnePlus 12 is an all-round flagship phone that embodies OnePlus’ decade-long leadership in technology. It features the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Mobile Platform, 4th Gen Hasselblad Camera for Mobile with a new 64MP 3x periscope lens, and a boundless Flowy Emerald colorway – all in true homage to OnePlus’ Never Settle spirit.
In addition to the OnePlus 12, the performance flagship phone, the OnePlus 12R, will be the first member of the OnePlus R series to launch outside of India and China. You can watch the full video below.
Both flagship phones are set to be released at the OnePlus Smooth Beyond Belief Launch Event at 19:30 IST, on January 23, 2024.
