JBL Malaysia today launched over 30 new JBL lifestyle audio products in it’s very first media and partners’ virtual event in Malaysia.
The products range from headphones, Bluetooth speakers, Party Box series, JBL Quantum Gaming series, sound bars, and true wireless earphones.
In case you didn’t know, JBL is a lifestyle audio brand under Harman International (Harman.com), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Samsung Electronics Co, LTD..
They are known for producing audio equipment with superior sound and immersive audio experiences for consumers and professional markets and is one of the fastest-growing headphones brand on the planet..
Highlights of today’s launch
There was quite a number of interesting highlights during the launch, so I’ll just mention the ones I thought were key.
During the street dance performance by LEGO Sam x Mustang Dance Academy, the power of the Party Box & Portable Speaker were highlighted both in terms of portability and style.
The JBL PartyBox 100 was a cool portable speaker which has intensive sound and looks really neat.
The Fitness Workshop by Babel later showcased the use of the the UA True Wireless Flash X during workouts, in which this IPX7 Sweat & Waterproof headphones managed to stay in the ear during some very vigorous workouts.
They also highlighted the JBL Club One which is not only wireless, but feature True Adaptive Noise Cancelling headphones which is inspired by pro musicians. This headphone features Ambient Aware and TalkThru technology which allows you to listen to the surrounding without taking off the headphones.
It’s interesting to note that JDL is the only brand that offers waterproof feature for all its true wireless headphones.
Also highlighted was the JBL BAR 9.1 True Wireless Surround with Dolby Atmos during the Tech Talk with Adam Lobo.
The sound bar comes with two detachable speakers which will allow better surround sound option and it comes with two HDMI ports, and supports Chromecast, Airplay 2 and Bluetooth.
Today’s launch also saw JBL Malaysia announce partnership with local brands such as Tropicana Corporation Berhad, Babel and artists such as Mustang Dance Academy under the new campaign initiative namely #JBLPeople.
The initiative aims to build a JBL community in Malaysia and enable a wider group of audience to have the opportunity to experience JBL products through various avenues.
Also noted during the launch is JBL’s partnership with ESL for ESL Mobile Open: League of Legends: Wild Rift SEA Icon Series Malaysia Summer Season 2021.
Ensure your JBL is original
Now, there’s plenty of JBL products out there in online stores and it’s rather hard to differentiate the original from the imitations.
JBL explains that original JBL products will come with a special sticker and MCMC code, and you will be able to register the product for warranty on the JBL website.
They will be also launching a ‘Buy original campaign’ soon, which also includes a JBL seal to identify original JBL products.
