Nubia recently just launched the Nubia Z70S Ultra Photographer Edition and the Nubia Pad Pro in Malaysia.
Here’s the highlights of the new devices.
Nubia Z70S Ultra Photographer Edition
The Nubia Z70S Ultra Photographer Edition is highlighted for its imaging prowess, featuring a fifth-generation Neo Master native 35mm custom optical system that boosts brightness by 40%.
It incorporates the Omnivision “Light & Shadow Master 990” flagship sensor with 50MP resolution, a 1/1.3-inch optical format, and 1.2-micron pixel size, supporting H/V QPD autofocus and DCG™ dual conversion gain HDR technology for superior image quality.
The device includes OIS, an f/1.7 large aperture lens, a 64MP periscope telephoto lens for 15cm macro shots, and a 50MP AF ultra-wide angle macro lens.
A physical mechanical shutter button and professional AI imaging models with features like AI motion capture and classic film tones enhance the photography experience.
For enthusiasts, a professional retro kit with a classic phone case and Neo Bar smart camera control bar is available.
The phone also boasts a 7th generation UDC Full Screen Display with an Under Display Camera, powered by the Snapdragon® 8 Elite chip, LPDDR5X memory, and UFS 4.0 storage for high performance.
It features a 144Hz refresh rate, AI Ultra Gaming Visuals, and a 6600mAh third-generation Nanhai battery, along with industry-first offline communication.
Design elements include the Flowing Red Ring, ultra-narrow 1.25mm bezels, a multi-texture rear camera module, and a customizable AI-powered sliding button.
Nubia Pad Pro
The Nubia Pad Pro is introduced as Nubia’s first tablet, designed for work, study, and entertainment.
It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon® 8 Gen 3 processor, offering a maximum clock speed of 3.3GHz, coupled with LPDDR5X high-speed memory and UFS4.0 high-speed flash storage for a smooth user experience.
The tablet features a 10.9-inch 2.8K ultra-clear true-color screen with a 2880×1800 resolution and DTS X® Ultra spatial 3D audio effects for an immersive audiovisual experience.
Its design includes an aerospace-grade unibody metal chassis, weighing 523g and measuring 7.3mm thin, with a 45° anti-slip tilt.
It has a 20MP front HD camera for clear video calls and a 78-key full-function PC keyboard layout for efficient typing.
Price and availability
nubia Malaysia announced that the nubia Z70S Ultra Photographer Edition will be priced at RM4,099 for the 12+256GB variant. This variant comes in Classic Black only.
The 16+512GB Z70S Ultra Photographer Edition is priced RM4,699.
Those ordering the phone during its first sales (which last until 27 June) stand to get gifts worth up to RM999, on top of a maximum of RM800 discount.
The nubia Pad Pro is also offering RM400 immediate discounts for anyone buying it before 27 June 2025. Those buying the nubia Pad Pro can choose from three variants namely 8+256GB, 12+256GB and 16+512GB with the cheapest variant being priced at RM2,399 before discounts.
