nubia has recently unveiled the nubia Z60 Ultra Photographer Edition in Malaysia.
According to the company, the launch marks a milestone in mobile photography, with the brand starting its first sale of the smartphone on April 4, 2024.
From then until 3 May 2024, the company will be offering the nubia Z60 Ultra Photographer Edition ata promotion price of RM3,699. After which, it will be back to the recommended retail price of RM4,499.
Z60 Ultra Photographer Edition highlights
Among the major highlights of the Z60 Ultra Photographer Edition is the NeoVision AI Imaging and Vegan Leather-effect Retro Camera Design which is incorporated to the smartphone.
The NeoVision AI Imaging utilises a robust AI model and computational photography techniques that enhances the capability to capture precise and exceptional images.
Additionally, this edition also offers AI-based smart erase functionality for effortlessly removing unwanted objects from photos.
It also incorporates AI-powered two-way real-time interpretation during calls and face-to-face conversations, akin to the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra.
This particular variant also distinguishes itself from the standard edition of the nubia Z60 Ultra by having a revised design inspired by traditional cameras.
Nubia also opted for a dual-tone design for his edition, blending vegan leather and glass on the rear of the Z60 Ultra Photographer’s Edition. This is achieved through a specialised micro-etching process.
Other than the difference of NeoVision AI Imaging and Vegan Leather-effect Retro Camera Design, Photographer Edition continues remaining the specifications of the standard model.
Its camera setup includes two 50MP sensors with 18mm and 35mm focal lengths, alongside a third 64MP periscope lens with an 85mm focal length.
All three lenses support OIS and boast the capability to record 4K videos at 120 fps. In front, the smartphone features an under-display camera equipped with an AI deep-sensing engine.
Inside, the nubia Z60 Ultra Photographer Edition comes equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, paired with 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of UFS 4 storage.
It has a 6.8-inch display boasting 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, and is powered by a 6,000mAh battery that supports 80W wired charging.
