Malaysian telco Maxis will be increasing their postpaid customer’s internet quota from June 4, 2020.
According to an announcement forwarded to customers, the quota upgrade will not incur any additional cost and will be done automatically.
Under the new data plan, those subscribed to Maxis Postpaid Share 48 will now enjoy a single quota of 30GB to share between the principal and supplementary lines.
Maxis has also decided to do away with the weekend and weekday quota separation for their Maxis Postpaid 98, with the plans now enjoying the same 40GB quota regardless of time and day.
The telco further stated that they will be processing the upgrades for existing lines from 4 to 10 June 2020 while new lines will get to enjoy the new quota from 4 June 2020 onwards.
Customers will be informed via SMS when their data plan has been upgraded.
