The Infinix Hot 30 Series is the successor to the Infinix Hot 20, and it comes with a range of new and exciting features that are sure to impress users.
There’s two models under the series which was announced in Malaysia yesterday, namely the Infinix HOT 30 and the Infinix HOT 3i, the later being the much cheaper model.
Here’s a preview and highlights of both smartphones.
Inifinix HOT 30 highlights
I’ll start with the HOT 30.
One of the standout features of the Infinix Hot 30 is its large 6.78-inch perforated screen which comes with a 1080P high resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, and 270Hz touch sampling rate.
This makes it perfect for streaming videos, playing games, and browsing the web. The device is powered by a 8-core MediaTek Helio G88 processor, containing two powerful ARM
Cortex-A75 cores with a maximum frequency of 2.0GHz.
The Infinix Hot 30 also comes with a 5000mAh battery that can last throughout the day with the exclusive Power Marathon power-saving mode. Such mode enables the smartphone to standby for a whole day or operate continuously for 2 hours at 5% limit.
The HOT 30 also comes with a 33W fast charging technology which is about 2 times faster than the previous widely used 18W of its class. This new charging technology allows the smartphone to charge up to 55% in just 30 minutes.
For photography lovers, the smartphone also comes with a 50MP main camera with a large F1.6 aperture, along with 4 LED flashlights and a super night mode.
To aid content creators, the HOT 30 comes is equipped with advanced editing tools that
support a variety of professional templates, including soundtracks, transitions, and special effects.
Last but not least, those opting for the HOT 30 Free Fire Special Edition will get a custom Free Fire design package sleeve and phone cover.
Infinix HOT 30i highlights
The Infinix HOT 30i, which was also launched today comes with a 6.6-inch HD+ True Bright Display with a slim design for immersive viewing.
Similar to the HOT 30, it includes a 5000mAh powerful battery with Power Marathon Technology to enable long-lasting usage.
It is also equipped with a 13MP with f/1.8 Wide AI camera unit and 8MP AI Portrait front camera to satisfy your photography requirements and capture precious moments stunningly.
It has an extended 4GB + 4GB (8GB) RAM and 128GB ROM which is good enough considering the pricing.
Overall, the Infinix HOT 30i is a decent budget smartphone with a large battery and a decent camera setup. However, the low amount of RAM and storage may limit its performance, especially when running multiple apps or games simultaneously.
Infinix HOT 30 Series price and availability
Overall, the Infinix Hot 30 is shaping up to be a solid mid-range smartphone that offers a great balance of performance, battery life, and features, while the Hot 30i is a solid budget option.
Both models will be available from 14 April 2023, with the HOT 30 priced at RM599 and the HOT 30i priced at RM399.
