HUAWEI today announced that the new HUAWEI MatePad 11, one of its latest tablets to join the HUAWEI tablet product family, will be arriving in Malaysia on 27 July.
The tablet which will enjoy the use of the newly released HarmonyOS 2, will come with several interesting features which include a display that supports 120 Hz refresh rate and a 2nd generation HUAWEI M-Pencil stylus.
Highlights of the HUAWEI MatePad 11
As mentioned above, the new HUAWEI MatePad 11 is the first-ever HUAWEI tablet to support a screen that has a 120 Hz refresh rate.
This means the tablet can deliver incredibly fluid visuals when displaying a wide range of content like videos and games.
Other highlights includes the tablet obtaining TÜV Rheinland dual certification which means it is certified to reduce blue light without needing to switch display modes and without colour casting, and the use of HUAWEI’s 2nd generation HUAWEI M-Pencil stylus for better writing abilities.
Compared to the MatePad Pro, this tablet has lower specification, and this can be seen in the battery and screen used.

Availability and price
While HUAWEI Malaysia made it known that the MatePad 11 will be available from 27 July 2021, details on how you can order it as wel as its pricing remain a mystery for now.
Nonetheless, since it has lower specification than the MatePad Pro (which now comes in Olive Green), I think it will be priced below the RM3,500 mark.
However, I do expect the tablet to be available in participating HUAWEI Partner Stores such as Lazada HUAWEI Flagship Store, Shopee HUAWEI Official Store and Senheng.
Aside from the MatePad 11, HUAWEI Malayia also announced they will be introducing the new variants of MateBook Series – HUAWEI MateBook D15 10th and 11th generation Intel Core i5 with 8GB, HUAWEI MateBook 14 with the latest AMD Ryzen™ 4000 H series processor and HUAWEI D14 10th generation Intel Core i3 in Malaysia.
